Our program values the individual development of children and shows honor to the work they are capable of, while never pushing them in ways they’re not ready for.

     We encourage curiosity and imagination. Exploration and wonder are some of the many sacred things about childhood.

     Play-School will focus on experience and exposure. It’s about building background knowledge for your child so when he or she enters school and the teachers say, “Today we will be measuring things,” your child can unlock prior knowledge and feel confident in class. “I know what measuring is – I did that all the time at Play-School!”

     Here are just some of the educational skills your child will be engaged in:
sorting, predicting, alphabet knowledge, recall and retell, shapes, measurement, number sense, school skills, cutting, gluing, folding, and tracing.
Play-School is full of science, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, art, and sensory-based activities too!

     This is a vibrant, hands-on curriculum. Your child will be active, moving, and engaged as they learn and explore the world around them. Traditional worksheets will be minimal if any.
   
     We want to teach the “whole child” and honor the fact that children learn in various ways. By exploring topics through different subjects and activities, your child will thrive and learn even more.
