Michelle brings her love of children, and learning to bring life to The Tree House. From teaching English to Chinese children, to her previously holding the Executive Director position at a literacy program, Michelle’s passion for guiding children to a love of learning just continues to grow. Michelle continues to take professional development courses in classroom management techniques, play based learning methods and studies the conscious discipline method. Michelle is also a proud member of the New York Association of Education for Young Children.
Although Michelle loves our community, she has always felt that there was a void for young children. With a dream and passion The Tree House was born. The Tree house was created with the belief that childhood is sacred, messes are mandatory and learning is fun. She receives on the job training from her own two children who are thirteen and three. Her family is an active part of the success of The Tree House. Her daughter is the certified toy tester, her son is always helping with odd jobs and making the kiddos smile and her husband is the official builder of all the things.
You can usually find Michelle at The Tree House, she's the goofy one doing anything to ensure your child's experience is filled with fun, love and learning. .
